we were just out in the house - making a short after-work trip to take some measurements so we can buy stuff before we do some work there on the weekend. i'm not sure we're likely to be in by february even...
still to do
by us:
• finish off the electrics
• fit one radiator (aonghus has been learning plumping - this will be the first test of his skills)
• replace necessary broken floorboards
• prep walls for painting (including LOTS of filling and sanding)
• paint walls
by professionals:
• fix nearly working plumbing
• fit kitchen
• replace fuse box
• sand & varnish all floors
and that's just the 'absolutely necessary before we move in' list. the 'ah sure we can do that once we're in there' list is about 10 times the two above combined! (though satisfyingly so is the 'stuff we've done' list)
