a lot of the shutters in thézan lès béziers (inlcuding the ones on my parents' new house) have 'struts' that finish in a pretty heart shaped detail.
even though - as french villages go - this one mightn't be up there at the top of the 'places to see' list, it still has more than enough of these interesting details to keep an irish person such as me completely enthralled.
