this is another one from addo elephant park - which is a wildlife park that lets you drive around on the designated roads (but not get out of your vehicle!) and try and spot the animals that live in the park.
after the elephants, i think the meerkats were the most exciting things to see. but they were too far away to get any good photos :(
update: the not so short list of photoblog nominees in the irish blog awards has been shortened, and unfortunately caitriona.net didn't make the grade :(
i'll still be heading along on the night tho - in support of the da and to say hello to all the bloggy peeps i've not seen since last year.

You should never have been de-listed. If not for your dad’s nomination i might lose faith in the Irish Blog Awards altogether.
ah sure, it’s not the end of the world about not being short listed – it’s giving me a very impartial eye!!
@roshin: there really was no photoshopping (beyond the usual levels/colours tweaks) the animals were genuinely prancing. now, we were safely inside a car (and if they came too close i quickly rolled the windows up)
