ruadhán celebrated his second birthday on 12/12/12 (not quite, but nearly as good as a friend who's son was born on 8/8/8).

i made some delicious but hideously neon (minimal colour changing has been done to the above shot) cupcakes for him to take into crèche to share with his toddler classmates.

we later discovered that the blue food colouring remains pigment-intact on its journey through the human digestive system, so have possibly frightened the bejaysis out of his classmates parents as they discovered a blue-tinted offering when changing time fell due.
